has a story to tell. StoryArts helps people collect,
organize, and celebrate life's stories. We would be
honored to help you preserve and pass on the stories
of your family, friends, organization or community to
future generations.
StoryArts is a nonprofit
consortium of community artists and custom publishers,
helping people shape hard-earned daily life events into
stories, which recognize and maintain meaning in life,
to be shared with their families, friends and communities.
We believe that honoring, archiving, and sharing life's stories
is vitally important to building a strong, healthy society.
StoryArts provides both
Community and Family Programs to our clients.
Community Programs: We have
two components to our Community Programs, our pre-designed
Legacies Project,
which we take into communities as a Youth/Elder StoryArt
program, and we also develop individualized story art projects at
the request of community service organizations or civic institutions.
These services are funded through government grants, private foundations,
and by the generous support of our donors.
Family Programs: We help our
family clients produce high quality, one of a kind published works,
which will fit their family's goal to either share their stories with
family and friends, or the community at large. These projects are funded
on a fee for service basis.
Our consortium of life story artists,
which provide our services, includes project coordinators and
interviewers, transcribers, copy editors, collage and graphic book
artists, a web designer, as well as our printers and binders.
